Holiday Dinners

News & Needs

The Souls Harbour RESCUE Mission puts on holiday dinners for the poor and needy of the city three times a year: at Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Our next dinner is the Easter Dinner which will be held on Saturday, March 22th, 2008 in our hall at 1380 Elphinstone St.

Our meals have been generously catered by Chris & Tasia Lygouriatis of Melrose Place North since 2004! We are deeply moved by their heart for the poor and needy in Regina, and as a result Chris received the RESCUER Award at the 2007 Love Your Neighbour Fundraising Banquet.

Below are a number of pictures from the 2006 Thanksgiving dinner held at the Albert Scott Community Center in North-Central Regina.

Over 700 people were fed at this year's Thanksgiving Dinner. Our Largest ever.

Over 60 volunteers helped set up and serve the meals.

The meal made for some very happy people.

Our guests were individually served both the salad and the main course.

Such a delicious meal! Makes you wish you were there, eh?
