Briefly describe your duties at the Mission?
Spiritual leadership and vision, work with the Board of Directors, budgeting, fundraising, writing and producing mailings, strategic planning, some teaching, public relations.
How many years have you been working in RESCUE ministry?
Since 1989.
How did God bring you into RESCUE ministry?
Michelle and I were dating and moved to Winnipeg to find work. We rented crumby places in the worst part of Winnipeg and saw first hand the misery of our addicted and spiritually lost neighbours. We called Union Gospel Mission and started volunteering. Soon I was on staff as the nightwatchman. We've been at it ever since.

Please share your testimony.
I believed in Jesus from a toddler, as my parents presented him to me daily. I came to repentance of my sins when as a five year old I heard a message about Hell at a John Wesley White crusade. The rest of my life has been a study in grace, as even a Christian from childhood needs gods grace every day.
Which scripture passage means the most to you?
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life."
What is your dream vacation, assuming you have unlimited time and money?
A month in Jamaica during February!
What is your dream vacation based on your pay and schedule at the Mission?
Swimming at the spa in Moose Jaw in February.
What is your preferred means of transportation and why?
I would like to own a powerchute - it's a parachute except you have an engine and propeller strapped to your back.
If you could have any job or position at the Mission, which would it be and why?
Janitor. Stress free, you get instant results, and you have time to hang out with people.
What do you do for down-time?
I concoct experiments that don't work.
Where were you born?
Biggar. That's why I'm biggar than you.
Where do you place amongst your siblings?
Third of four boys.
Where would you like to be 14 years from now?
A little closer to God.
What is the best part about working at the Mission?
Seeing God answer prayer.
If you could learn any language, which would it be and why?
Spanish. So I could move where it's warm and start a mission.
What is your favourite flavour of ice cream?
Mocha.
