Volunteer Individually
We are extremely grateful for the many individuals that donate their time and energy to the work of the mission. You are one of our greatest resources.
Volunteers work alongside staff members in every area of work that we are involved in. The support they give to the staff and the extra help they provide throughout the Mission is tremendous. We try our best to match up volunteers with the area that they would fit in best with. Quite often our volunteers discover that they not only are providing assistance, but that they themselves are benefiting through their efforts.
If you would like to volunteer at Souls Harbour RESCUE Mission, please fill out the SHRM Volunteer Application form by choosing one of the two options below.
Volunteer Opportunities include:
- Receptionists
- Help with baking bee once a week with LifeChange residents
- Help out with weekly recreation or work bee times with residents
- Shift Supervisors at Men's Home, Women's Home, or Emergency Shelter
- Serve or provide meals at the Soup Kitchen
- Sort clothes or help customers at the Free Clothing Store

Volunteer as a Group
On numerous occasions groups have come in from Churches, Bible Colleges, Schools, Companies, etc to help serve at the Soup Kitchen. Meals are served Monday - Friday, with volunteers needed from 4:30pm-8:00pm. If you are part of a group or organization that would be interested in volunteering for a meal, please let us know by sending an email to volunteer@soulsharbourrescuemission.org.
